These pages of Administration and Finances are a collection of information on the decision making process, the organizational structure, and financial state of the local government of the Jämsä City.

The Jämsä city organization is divided into four main spheres and three public utilities.

The highest decision-making organ of the city administration is the City Council. The meetings of the City Council are open for public, and they are held in the Vitikkala-Hall, at the Vitikkala School.

The proceedings of the official's decisions are held for public according to the article 140 of the Local Government Act.
